With lifestyle and spiritual wellbeing playing such an important part in our lives these days, the festival scene is finally catching up. Forget rain drenched tents, herds of rowdy teens and mile-long portaloo queues.
Settled in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside between 19th-21st August, Soul Circus’ goal is to offer a weekend of tranquility and a chance for guests to re-calibrate and renew.
Instead of focusing primarily on the bands (although the line-up looks pretty incredible) Soul Circus is all about feeling great and putting yourself back together. They have brought together the most sought after yoga instructors and wellness practitioners of all shapes and sizes to offer over 20 classes a day in three different "experience tipis”. Think anything from DJ yoga rave to blissful meditation in a sensory environment transporting you to another land.
You may even want to splurge for a VIP ticket allowing access to the “front row lounge tipi” hosted by Lululemon founder Chip Wilson and his new luxury retailer Kit and Ace which will be hosting several lifestyle events and experiences – and a pop up store.
In keeping with the wellness campaign, Liz Earle is setting up a spa tent serving a selection of signature services for the ultimate mental and physical retreat. Food and drink will be organic, brought in from home-grown, sustainable caterers such as Whole Foods, The Core , Asparagasm, Cotswold Cider Co. and The Little Gin Company. As well as the onsite food vendors, Soul Circus will put on interactive workshops run by Chef Jay Halford on how to live and cook healthy, delicious food.
Soul Circus, which was recently voted the one of the best festivals by Glamour magazine is a rare experience; a festival that will leave you feeling healthier and more relaxed than when you arrived. Not to mention a vast improvement to your downward dog.
Maybe it's not too late to relive a little youth after all. To help streamline our event and sell tickets, we've set up the Soul Circus Yoga event using Eventbrite.
We cannot wait to see you there!
