Dan started practising yoga over 20 years ago after many years of full contact martial arts, skateboarding and continuing back complaints and hyper-mobility began to take their toll on his body. At the suggestion of an Indian doctor, it turned out that anxiety was at the root of all has problems and yoga was the solution, he has never looked back since!
Stewart first gained his qualification as a yoga teacher through yogahaven and has since become certified as a 300hr Jivamukti teacher. He teaches vinyasa based classes that can accommodate all levels of experience. He also has an interest in the practice of Yin yoga and the benefits that can be gained by complimenting this with a more dynamic practice. Awareness of breath, mindful movement and intention, hold a strong focus in his classes. All of which is held lightly and playfully.
Aurélien is a designer and art director based in London. Specialised in branding, he is passionate about all things printed, from logos to t-shirts, books, posters, and large scale murals. Aurélien is in charge of the branding, graphic design and merchandising creation for Soul Circus. Mary started practicing yoga only 5 years ago and immediately became hooked. She has since travelled to India completing a 200hr at the Sampoorna Yoga school in Goa and teaches at Ella and Fleur Hot Yoga and Cable Studios in London.
As a school teacher, Mary believes that bringing yoga to young people can be an invaluable tool in helping them develop holistically. Yoga also provides an arena to help young people find peace away from the pressures in modern society. She's looking forward to teach the under 18's at Soul Circus this year!

Kate found yoga the tender age of 14, and her practice has become increasingly
important throughout her life. With a background in Ashtanga, training in Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga, and an aversion to taking life too seriously, Kate shares playful, dynamic, breath-led sequencing with a focus on mindful alignment. She encourages students to find a personal practice in each class, so that they may cultivate their own yoga and experience the many ways in which it expands all areas of our human life.
Also a professional singer, when Kate’s not on a yoga mat, she’ll likely be at the piano. And if she’s not there, you’ll find her reading about gut health, recycling EVERYTHING, or making chocolate-based things in the kitchen.
Chris is a lifelong martial artist, and former rugby player who turned to yoga as a way to rehabilitate injuries, yet discovered so much more! Having taught globally, he is currently based in London. Stylistically, he loves to flow a Strong Dynamic Vinyasa - with an anatomical focus, layered philosophy, mindfulness and playfulness.
Through Yoga and the world around us he inspires people to reach their potential and live fuller lives both physically and mentally, transitioning your yoga from the mat, and applying the principles learnt to your daily life.
Kelly first got on the mat ten years ago, in her mid 20s, and it soon became her antidote to balancing a demanding marketing career and a living-life-to-the-full lifestyle. Last year, after almost 15 years working in industry, she decided to shut the corporate door and launch Good Yoga Life. She now runs classes in six locations across London and teaches and hosts unique yoga events such as Yoga Supper Club.
As a yoga and mediation teacher, I guide people from all backgrounds to learn how to cultivate inner stillness, wellbeing and peace, and carry it through their everyday lives. I have been practicing meditation since 2006, training in the practice of Insight Meditation (Vipassana), and recently trained as a yoga teacher.
Doug Robson is a stuntman who has worked on many Hollywood productions such as James Bond, The avengers, Star Wars and Mission impossible. He found yoga as a way to combat the stress of work and to heal the body. Now a qualified teacher he has fused his background in martial arts, gymnastics and yoga to develop something fresh and exciting.
Stephen has been practising yoga for over 20 years. His yoga story has taken him around the world and into many styles and schools. As a sports enthusiast, too he understands the body having trained in martial arts and endurance events. Through extensive yoga and Pilates he has worked himself back from injury to peak fitness on a number of occasions. With an interest in the philosophy of yoga too he is equally focussed on relaxation techniques and mind/body connection. He did his teacher training with the shamanic school of yoga in the rainforests of Costa Rica and is further qualified with the Yoga Nidra network. He describes Yoga Nidra as the single most important contribution to yoga in the 21st century. He teaches classes in central London and also delivers workshops around the world. He can be found giving classes at many music festivals this summer.

Benjamin recovered from two herniated discs, five knee surgeries and the traumatic suicide of a loved one through consistent yoga practice. A perpetual student and thusly a deeply knowledgeable teacher, Benjamin is an international mentor recently dubbed a “master” by Yoga Journal. He is often featured in the media for his reflections on yoga in the modern world
Marcus’ took the road less-travelled to yoga. Fresh out of Uni, he managed to use his degree in philosophy to justify spending his 20s touring the world as an international DJ, remixing and recording as one half of the Loose Cannons. A need to properly heal the body coincided with a sneaking desire for change in the mind that landed Marcus on the mat… Trying every style of class he could get to on every studio intro-offer in London, he finally landed on dynamic Vinyasa and more specifically, the Ashtanga-inspired Rocket system, which satisfied his undying urge to fly.
Emily Young (RYT 500) shares a warm and inclusive vinyasa teaching style, she is a Yoga Alliance teacher trainer, and has delivered retreats, workshops and teacher training's across Asia, Europe and the USA. Emily is always learning through yoga, studying Ashtanga yearly with her teacher Ajay Kumar in Mysore, having trained in Hatha Philosophy in Northern India, studied Buddhism in Nepal and with strong influence form practitioners such as Kathy Cooper, Shannon Gannon and Tara Brach. She is also a Senior Lecturer in Children's Health and Well-being at Edge Hill University in the UK.
From a very humble beginning of yoga, where I began to practice for back pain, a new world awakened to me. Yoga has become such a huge part of my life – not only for my physical body, but for my mind and spirit. My approach to yoga is a heartfelt practice filled with funky music, laughter (cause if ya can’t laugh at yourself…) and an undying love of inversions- the good, the bad, and the downright impossible. It is through the world of impossible that I find myself working towards the possible - to convince others that they too have an internal power just waiting to escape! Liv loves to cherish a balanced and healthy lifestyle through areas of fitness, yoga and holistic nutrition. After training as an actress at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Liv’s found love for strength and alignment took her into fitness coaching and then on to her training in Ashtanga yoga/Pranayama/Meditation. She loves working between an intense and euphoric vibe in her spin classes and the stillness and inner peace received in her yoga practice.

Aram completed his teacher training with inspirational yogi Doug Swenson and continues to regularly practice with and assist his long-term teacher Stewart Gilchrist. He has been greatly influenced by his teachings of Satyagraha and seeks to pass on their authenticity in his own classes. He is open to all styles and methods and has travelled and meditated extensively in search of amazing teachers to help expand his experience.
The roots of his practice are based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya and the lineage passed down by him.

Jess starting practicing yoga while living in New Zealand and soon decided to travel to India to become immersed in the lifestyle and culture, and undertake 200hr TTC + 100hr advance in, Goa. Yoga has helped Jess to rebuild her relationship with self and learning to love the skin you're in.

Kelly Brooks found yoga through her city job in a Law firm. Ash - The other half of HandstandYogi, Ash is a writer and yoga instructor based in Bristol. Founder of Flying Monkey Yoga, Ash teaches her eclectic style of Forrest-infused Vinyasa, Restorative and AcroYoga on workshops, teacher trainings and retreats throughout the UK and abroad. Ash's classes are playful but also play on the deeper connection that Yoga offers us; to our environment, to each other and to ourselves. Ambra is a former Principal ballerina with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. She turned to yoga on a path to recovery from injuries that naturally result from the strenuous training regime, and as well as becoming a hobby she also credits it with helping to enhance and prolong her career. Slowly over the years she fell in love with the more subtle, spiritual parts of the practice.
Ambra’s teaching is fun and spontaneous following the lineage of Larry Shultz, Ana Forrest, and Sri Dharma Mittra. Since she retired from professional ballet she has been teaching regularly in teacher training courses, has worked with performers and athletes helping to rethink their traditional training regimes and introduce yoga to drive better performance and increase their enjoyment of sport and performance.
My lifelong love for sports and fitness has driven me to create the best product for athletes at Under Armour, to drive the boutique fitness industry in London at BOOM Cycle, and build a mindful and balanced community at Kit and Ace. Charlie has spent the past 25 years practicing and teaching Ashtanga Yoga. He is one of the few U.K. teachers directly authorized by to teach the Ashtanga Yoga system by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the Indian yoga master who popularized this yoga method in the West. Charlie teaching style makes yoga accessible to practitioners of all abilities, focusing on breathing, strength and good alignment. He teaches yoga privately in London.

As a professional ballet dancer, training up to 8 hours a day and working closely with sports nutritionists, Sassy soon learnt the importance of food and the power it has to make us feel and look our best. But the traditional ballet world is full of conflicting messages and she found herself to be increasingly miserable; on the one hand encouraged to think of herself as an athlete, and on the other to lose weight to attain the right ‘look’.
