Planting a Soul Circus Forest | Christina Hunt

This year we've collaborated with Treedom to plant our very own forest and make a small contribution to the health of this beautiful planet we live on.

What is Treedom? 

Treedom is a platform that allows users to plant a tree from afar then follow the story of the project where it is planted online. It was founded in 2010 in Florence, and since then over 2.000.000 trees have been planted across Africa, South America, and Italy. All of their trees are planted by local farmers and bring environmental, social, and financial benefits to the local community.

Treedom's "trees are planted in agroforestry projects that promote virtuous interaction among different species and sustainable use of resources and land.

All trees are good for the environment: they absorb CO₂, emit oxygen, promote biodiversity, counteract soil erosion and much more.

Rural communities involved in our projects receive training and financial support. They are the ones who take care of the trees and enjoy their fruits."

Treedom's "philosophy is to create sustainable ecosystems and allow farmers to meet the initial costs of planting trees, ensuring food sovereignty and income opportunities."

If this past year has taught us anything, it has taught us the importance of nature - both for the health of our planet and for the health of OURSELVES.
